Using the same unique period coating that is on the "Erasable Memorandum", this handy pocket sized piece has a single piece of coated leather affixed to a stiff board using period glues and hand riveted copper rivets. This board is then covered in a red goat leather with an enclosed nail pencil made by Goose Bay Workshops. Perfect for quick notes or small sketches. Once you are done with the note, just wipe it clean with a moist cloth.
Although historically inspired, the Erasable portion is heavily documented. Perfect for a military or militia impression where temporary noted are needed. I have even used mine to make quick math calculations (as needed for surveying) or notes on the money I have spent at events.
