The attributed author is Father Murtaugh O'Lavery, was a “Priest of the Parishes of St. John's, Drumore, and Macherlin.”

This was a sermon delivered on the occasion of the funeral of a Parishioner around the year 1747. Although lacking in deep Scriptural notations, it is a very amusing anecdotal explanation. This Father was an Irish Priest. Printed in the phonetic enunciation of his accent, it does take a a short bit of deciphering before you understand his accent.
